Opinions on AT season 6?
When I first watched season 6, I didn’t like it. It felt too different from seasons 1-5 and i missed the comedy the show previously had. Now doing a rewatch, I think it’s just okay. It started off strong with ‘wake up’ and ‘escape from the citadel’, then sort of lost its way down the middle with only a few good eps before picking back up at ‘is that you?’. The rest of the eps then are pretty solid apart from a few duds like ‘water park prank’ ‘walnuts and rain’ and ‘chips n ice cream’
Maybe i’m missing something but season 6 didn’t meet the mark that season 7 or 8 hit.
And yeah I get that it was suppose to be more ‘philosophical’ but season 7-10 had deeper meanings that didn’t feel boring or too abstract. take ‘the hall of egress’, one of the more deeper eps of season 7. An episode about leaving your childhood behind and egressing into adulthood. but even with those deeper meanings, it didn’t feel boring or a slog to get through.
anyway if u liked season 6, tell me what u liked about it :)
